TECHNICAL
INFORMATION:
The backlighting and the perspective provided by the foreground trees framing the falls and the falls, in turn, framing a more distant tree, made this shot one of my earliest 16 by 20 black and white sales.
Of course, as usual, the limited resolution of Web images is a significant problem with this print. One thing I strive for in all my 16 by 20 prints is not only a large pattern that gets one's attention from a distance, but also enough detail in the print that no matter how close one gets, the viewer's eyes are the limiting factor in the amount of detail seen.
As with much of my work, this image was shot with the Rollei SL66 and 150 Sonnar.
